INFINITY:: AGITATORS :: THE FASHION SHOW

A UNIQUE FASHION SHOW

Dynamic, algorithmic short story

by Jesper Ranum

Fifth Avenue, New York,
early Saturday evening.
The world renowned designer brand,
Diane
Vuitton,
lifts the curtain for a range of new styles.

The tinnitus plagued
veteran DJ
hits the button and plays
a slamming, trap-influenced version of
“What a wonderful world”
bought on a gas station.

The red pin spots interact perfectly with
the dark, blue ambience.
A confetti cannon goes off when
a monochrome TV wall flashes
a rotating copy of “Mein Kampf”,
and technical motion graphics.

The heat is rising
just as
Susan
Carcrashian -
a
23 year old
ordinary
and
bombastic
american
weekend DJ -
saves the day
dressed in
an appalling
dark green
logo spawned
armour,
augmented by
muddy
moccasins
and
an outrageous
sports Cap.

A pair of stilts
and
a light saber
marks an elegant end to this
fat
style.

The burnt out
critics
look like drowned cats and
the president’s daughter
talks about charity.
